Curricular Initiatives

Embedding justice and equity frameworks in computing curriculum.

Our Approach

Student writing on whiteboard

RC Course Field Scan

The project team will administer a survey instrument to better understand how issues of justice and equity are integrated in computing curricula. The findings will shape the development of a digital repository of responsible computing courses across Penn.

Curricular Development

The findings from our research will be disseminated broadly and aims to drive further opportunities to collaborate in designing curricula, developing new and revised course modules, and piloting course materials.

Collaborative Workshops

Through interactive workshops, we aim to encourage faculty, researchers, librarians, practitioners, and pedagogy experts to support the scalable approaches to embed issues of justice and equity frameworks within computing curricula.
